Virginia Tech at home against East Carolina. Why is VT only at a PK?

Isn't VT a pretty decent team and they had a good game last time out. Any thoughts on this?

I think game is at a nuetral site in Norfolk. Actually closer to ECU campus than Blacksburg. Other than that I don't know why a pick.

Norfolk/Va Beach is a strong alumni/recruiting base for Va Tech. Not many Hokie fans went to Phoenix for the Insight Bowl, so I wouldn't be surprised to see a decent number of Hokie fans @ Norfolk for the game.

If it means anything (not sure if it does), I think the Hokies will have a slight home-court advantage.

Game will be @ Constant Convocation Center on the campus of Old Dominion.

I *think* Va Tech has played here before. They've played @ ODU, but I'm not sure if the game was @ Constant.

East Carolina is now -3 1/2 at Olympic .... something seems strange here .... maybe Va Tech just isn't that good??

 

Virginia Tech is not that good and neither is East Carolina but I would lean to East Carolina here.

ECU has a good team this year, they've been beating up on teams pretty good. Close loss to good G.Mason team on the road.

This is ECUs second lined game of the year (0-1 ATS) and VTech coming off blowout win over William and Mary -- Linesamker may have been thinking that public would hammer VTech in this one....maybe Linesmaker out-thought itself on this one...

I hammered ECU pretty good on the overnight line last evening at a PK -- was going to be my POD until this morning's line move -- who knows, maybe Linesmaker thinking public hammers ECU when VTech is the "right" side.

All makes for interesting life.
